Thanks to the Durham community for supporting the 2009 Barnes & Noble Holiday Book Drive at the Streets at Southpoint. Barnes & Noble customers purchased 4,150 new books for Durham children between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31. The book drive was kicked off the first week of December with a story reading from WRAL’s Amanda Lamb, who is an author of a parenting book on motherhood. (pictured above).
