Call for nominations: Partnership awards

Do you know a Champion for Young Children?

Why not nominate a deserving individual that has worked on behalf of young children.

Durham’s Partnership for Children is currently accepting nominations for Durham’s Champions for Children Awards.The awards recognize individuals in nine categories for working to improve the early childhood system in Durham County. Award recipients will be notified and honored on April 15, 2010 at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club during the Partnership’s 15th Anniversary Diner entitled, Creating
Possibilities for Our Young Children’s Future.

“Champions for Young Children Awards enable Durham’s Partnership for Children’s Board of Directors to honor outstanding Durham community members for advocating, supporting and serving the needs of young children and their families,” says Partnership Executive Director Marsha Basloe. “Honoring individuals in
our community who work on behalf of young children and their families is even more important during times when so many programs face diminished funding and
greater needs.”
